A Delta flight to Hawaii turned turbulent after a couple was accused of engaging in a sex act in the middle of the economy cabin.
A passenger onboard Delta Flight DL312 from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Honolulu, Hawaii claimed they witnessed the pair attempting to join the "Mile High Club" while in their seats. The traveler told TMZ he saw a woman performing oral sex on a man under a blanket during the flight and even captured video that appeared to show something obscene taking place.
Flight crew reportedly alerted authorities before landing. According to law enforcement sources, both the FBI and deputies at Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport responded to the incident upon the plane's landing.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Delta declined to comment on the specific allegations, referring inquiries to law enforcement. The U.S. Attorney's Office, which will make the decision on whether to pursue charges, has not yet responded to requests for comment either.
Passengers on a JetBlue flight experienced something similar when a woman was seen giving oral sex to her partner on a flight from New York to Florida last month. According to TMZ, another passenger allegedly noticed the woman making "up-and-down movements with her head while she was face down" in the man's lap. The woman also allegedly masturbated the man while they were in their seats.
The couple was charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition for their alleged conduct on the flight and were banned from flying on JetBlue.
