An elected Texas official is doing everything he can to show how "depraved" he thinks liberals are — including posting photos of BDSM puppy play to his own social media accounts.
On Tuesday (August 19), Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller took to X to share photos of military members wearing masks typically used for puppy role playing in kink spaces, per San Antonio Current.
"Just a reminder that leftists are depraved, fetishistic weirdos who desperately need Jesus," wrote Miller, a Republican and MAGA supporter whom President Donald Trump has considered for a Cabinet position.
The photos come from a 2022 USA Today story about an Army investigation into images of soldiers wearing bondage gear and dog masks along with their military uniforms. The soldiers' political leanings are not public information.
One of the photos allegedly depicts a Col. Ravage, who came out as a furry after retiring from the Army with a post tagged “#ServiceDawg,” The Current noted.
The meme in Miller’s post also included photos of Dr. Rachel Levine, a trans woman and former assistant secretary of health, and a person wearing a face mask and shield.
Miller appeared to have later deleted the X post — but not before his 2026 election opponent, Clayton Tucker, grabbed hold of it.
"I’m running to replace this fool," Tucker wrote along with a screenshot of the post on Threads.
Miller formerly served in the Texas House of Representatives and has been the state’s agriculture commissioner since 2015. In 2014, the Texas Ethics Commission fined Miller $2,750 over campaign finance violations after an investigation that he called a "witch hunt."
